Something new! When your child is snack leader they may bring in an item for “show – n – share.” This may be a toy, book, or photo. They can tell about their item during circle time. (Nothing with guns or weapons please.) TOYS ONLY ON “SHOW AND SHARE” DAY.

In addition to working on the alphabet, 4 yr. olds are printing their names on pages. A homework paper will be sent home to finish with you. If your child is practicing at home please: A.) Use a capital letter at the beginning (only), followed by lowercase letters. B.) Remind them to “pinch the pencil” and use their helper hand to hold the paper. C.) Sit down with them and offer lot of encouragement!

There will be no school on Feb. 13th (In service day), Feb. 15th (Preschool Parent –teacher conferences), and Feb. 20th (President’s Day). If we have a 2 hour snow delay, that means NO AM PRESCHOOL except for extended day enrichment students.

Valentine parties will be Fri. Feb. 10th for 4 yr. olds and Tues. Feb. 14th for 3 yr. olds. Students may bring in Valentines and/or wrapped treats to pass out. IMPORTANT! Only put your child’s name in the “From” space. Do not put classmates’ names on them. This way the children can pass them out themselves. The count is the same as on the snack calendar.
